Yes, they will. The Intensive is engineered to respect the demands of a full summer calendar. Synchronous sessions run Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., leaving evenings, weekends, and Fridays entirely in the scholar's hands.

The program is intellectually dense without being depleting. Scholars maintain international travel itineraries, elite athletic and arts commitments, and community leadership obligations without academic disruption. The rigorous development occurs within the scheduled window, by design.

Scholars exit with the following:

Quintilian™ is a curated environment where intellectual rigor and mutual respect are non-negotiable. Every candidate completes a Diagnostic Assessment and Alignment Interview prior to acceptance. This process ensures academic readiness and alignment with our institutional values before our sessions begin.

Within our 5:1 Cohort, every session is led by a vetted Faculty Mentor and governed by a strict code of conduct:

Active Mentorship: Faculty mentors actively guide all sessions, ensuring a highly accountable, productive, and supportive room.
Executive Ethics: We uphold high standards of empathy and professionalism, ensuring every peer interaction is grounded in mutual respect.

Our faculty members are background-checked and held to rigorous safeguarding standards appropriate for working with scholars under eighteen:

Restricted Access: Session access is strictly limited to placed scholars and assigned faculty.
Secure Recordings: Where a session is recorded, the file is retained solely for the scholar’s Executive Asset Suite. It is never distributed beyond the family and the Office of the Director.
Direct Consultation: Families with specific safeguarding questions are welcome to raise them with the Director during the Alignment Interview or at any time.

To preserve the professional integrity of the 5:1 Cohort, participation standards are specific and non-negotiable. Scholars must engage via a high-speed internet connection, a high-definition webcam, and a dedicated, quiet workspace. Desktop or laptop participation is required; mobile-only access is not permitted.

All curriculum modules, briefing materials, and peer resources are housed within a Private Institutional Platform. Prior to the Intensive, each scholar completes a guided onboarding sequence. Our Technical Concierge is available well in advance of the first session to ensure all configurations are optimized and ready.

English is the sole language of instruction. To ensure scholars can contribute meaningfully to the high-velocity discourse of the 5:1 Cohort, non-native speakers must provide formal verification of proficiency prior to admission.

Automatic Waiver: Candidates attending an institution where English is the primary language of academic instruction are exempt from this requirement.

Accepted Benchmarks:

• TOEFL iBT: minimum 100 (or equivalent 5+ on the 2026 scale)
• IELTS: minimum 7.0
• Duolingo English Test: minimum 130

Competitive PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores are also accepted in the absence of the above.

Initial scores may be self-reported during Stage III Verification. Official institutional verification is required to finalize admission.

Accuracy in all self-representations is a foundational requirement. Submission of fraudulent data is grounds for immediate denial or expulsion.

The Selection Process

Stage I: Diagnostic Assessment

A brief structured evaluation establishing the scholar's current rhetorical baseline. The Diagnostic informs the Alignment Interview and ensures that both parties arrive at that conversation with relevant foundational data.

Stage II: Alignment Interview

A direct conversation between the scholar, their family, and the Founding Director. The program evaluates the scholar's communicative potential and readiness; the family evaluates whether the program's intensity and methodology are the right fit. Neither party is obligated to proceed. This stage precedes the formal application by design: a program serious about its cohort confirms alignment before it accepts one.

Stage III: Verification & Admission

Initiated only after mutual confirmation of fit.

• Academic Record: An official or unofficial transcript verifying a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 — an administrative floor, not the selection instrument.
• Educator Endorsement: A single endorsement from an educator substantiating the scholar's capacity for rigorous, articulate discussion.

Yes, fully, and throughout. We regard the family as a partner in the scholar's development, and we keep that partnership informed at every stage.

Families maintain live visibility through The Live Analytics Portal™, with formal assessments delivered at defined intervals across the Intensive. You see the scholar's trajectory as it forms: not a report issued at the close, but the development itself, documented as it happens.

The Intensive convenes Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern, for six weeks. Because the Cohort is deliberately global, families outside the Eastern window receive a confirmed session schedule in their local time at the point of placement, along with the full calendar of the term. Where a scholar's local schedule and the live room diverge sharply, the Director reviews fit directly during the Alignment Interview before a seat is confirmed. We do not place a scholar into a schedule that cannot sustain genuine engagement.

The First-Week Integrity Window™ establishes a structured baseline: faculty observation, scholar engagement, and program fit are all assessed in real time, not left to guesswork. This is a deliberate evaluation period built for your family's confidence, not just your scholar's placement.

At the conclusion of the Integrity Window, your family makes the call. If the fit is right, the placement continues into the full Intensive. If it is not, the placement is dissolved and the full allocation is returned — your family holds that judgment as fully as we do.

PHASE 01 · FUNDING. Escrow Placement Gate March 1, 2027 · 5:00 PM EST

The Framework. The $50,000 allocation is never wired to the program. It clears directly into an independent, non-interest-bearing escrow account held by a third-party legal custodian. The Deadline. The gate is a firm logistical boundary: funds must clear into the escrow account by 5:00 PM EST on March 1, 2027. A wire documented as initiated in good time is honored if it settles within five business days of the gate, so a slow correspondent bank does not cost a family its seat. A seat left genuinely unfunded at the gate releases to the waitlist pool. The principal remains isolated and untouched within the account through the spring.

PHASE 02 · EVALUATION. First-Week Integrity Window™ June 21–27, 2027.

The Framework. You evaluate the program from inside it. Across the entire first week, 100 percent of the allocation remains held by the independent escrow agent. No funds reach the program account until the window closes. Absolute Control. If the first week does not confirm the fit, the placement is dissolved and the full allocation is returned. Your family holds that judgment as fully as we do. The Return. Written notice to the escrow agent at any point before 11:59 PM EDT on June 27, 2027 returns exactly 100 percent of the $50,000 principal directly to your source account within three business days.

The Threshold Assembly convenes in August 2027 at The Notre Dame Club at The Cornell Club–New York, 6 East 44th St., Manhattan. Residential accommodation and dining for the scholar and one accompanying family representative are provisioned within the Cohort allocation. Travel to and from New York is arranged by the family. A full logistics briefing is issued to confirmed families in advance.
